Rob McCord at a debate kept talking about education and kept talking about it making sure people know he planned on restoring the education deficit in Pennsylvania. He is also talking about raising the taxes on those drills by 10% this is the highest percentage from any candidate. Tom Corbett had lowered the education budget by 1 billion . All the candidates are promising more money for the system. Also McCord is endorsed by the education system and Schwartz by the pft. Rob McCord also has the most debt out of all the candidates which doesn't help him. They want to have a better formula to get schools money. This information is needed because Corbett cut a lot of education spending and allowed for huge cuts. They will use this information to their advantage to try and appeal to everyone in the school system. The author is basically summarizing everything the candidates said during their time to talk. This could affect how they vote and who will get a lead based on how good they can talk.
